So you’ve had your mammogram or breast cancer screening, perhaps you may have experienced breast cancer symptoms. It is time to get your diagnosis and breast cancer answers. If you are newly diagnosed with breast cancer then it is important to have the ask the right questions to your doctor or oncology care team at your appointment. Getting the best cancer care begins when you ask the right questions regarding cancer treatment and cancer treatment options. What is my breast cancer diagnosis? What are the breast cancer stages? Do you recommend radiation, surgery and chemotherapy? If you need surgery do you need a breast cancer surgeon? Do you recommend integrative cancer care? If so, what does integrative cancer treatment look like? What are some other supportive therapies that could work for my breast cancer diagnosis? Also, it is important to get cancer information that lets you know if you may experience any cancer side effects. It is important to ask the hard questions like, how long do you have to live if you have cancer and can you survive cancer? Lastly, to get some breast cancer answers it is a good idea to find out if your oncology team knows the causes of cancer or what causes cancer in your case? This can help you with your health and on your journey to be a breast cancer survivor.
